My name is Danielle, and I’m the one woman behind-the-curtain at Missy-2-Step. As a lifetime artist, fashion has always been an important part of self expression and creation. With a personal passion for the conservation of our ecological environment and everything secondhand, I feel so proud to offer a range of beautifully crafted garments that are both captivating and have an ethical commitment to the world around us.

As a fully self taught fiber and textile artist, I believe the best materials have already lived a full life prior to my reuse of them. It is an item's story that gives it value and intrigue. I source all my materials and textiles myself at thrift shops, yard sales, free-bins, and the like; and to be honest, this is my favorite part of the whole process.

Missy-2-Step is a nickname my Dad called me throughout my childhood and to this day. He is also the person to instill the love for the odd and the thrifty, taking me out early most Saturday mornings in the summers to hit the garage/yard sales.
